Jo Malone-

I am a hoarder when it comes to smellies, be it home scents or bath and body, if I love it… I need it. So when my sister visited the Jo Malone Boutique – Grand Central (Birmingham) picking a scent for me was impossible. Thankfully, the lovely Dan invited her to bring me in for a complimentary hand and arm massage where we could explore the different scents and products Jo Malone have to offer.

We used it as a girly day bringing my Mother in Law along to be pampered after some extensive retail therapy. It just so happened to be Dan who was our Masseur for the afternoon. He was amazing, some of the best customer service I have ever received. Our session entailed going through the fragrances to understand what notes you are drawn to before picking a scent for your massage. In my case I was torn between two scents, so we used them both.

The ‘Peony and Blush Suede’ which had a soft floral scent and the ‘Mimosa and Cardamom’ which was a stronger, slightly spicy scent. Together the two scents were beautifully balanced. A cleanse was made with the Mimosa and Cardamom body and hand wash to begin with. It was so therapeutic watching Dan whisk the hand wash before use, creating a beautiful moisturising foam cleanser.

That was followed by a hand and arm massage with the Mimosa and Cardamom body crème. It was so relaxing! The crème contains shea butter and jojoba oil which my skin absolutely loves.

We finished with a spritz of the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne. My hands felt super soft and smelled incredible. What makes Jo Malone stand out to me is not only are their fragrances amazing but they linger all day. I cooked and washed the dishes yet you could still smell the fragrance on my skin until I went to bed, I was so impressed.

My favourite product has the be the Peony and Blush Suede Cologne. It smells great in the candle too. I would definitely suggest checking out what services your local Jo Malone Boutique offer, it was a beautiful end to a busy day.
