Budget Bougie-Primark Beauty Review.

I was more than hesitant about doing this post and trying out these products. I’ve heard mixed reviews about the Primark Beauty range and I am guilty of dismissing high street beauty lines. In my head buying beauty product with my clothes just seemed far-fetched.

I decided not to go crazy and buy the whole line as I was not sure if I would like it but I did buy a few products.

Oval Makeup Brushes £2.50-£4

These are shaped like the Artis Brushes and I was a real sceptic. To be honest once you get the hang of using this brush on your face you can create a beautiful seamless finish. I found that my foundation was much more full coverage with this brush but for me that wasn’t a bad thing.

I used the smaller one to blend my cream contour and I found that it really did work a treat. It was easier for me to work with the smaller brush.

These brushes are really dense and I didn’t expect them to feel so soft but they are super soft and gentle on your skin.

Velvet Matte lip Crayons £2.

These are brilliant. I was so happy with the formula, I was expecting them to be drying and have a chunky finish but they didn’t. They glide on really well and blend well with each other if you are like me and like to blend shades.

I love this shade, I can’t get enough of super dark vampy lips and this shade truly delivered.

This is my favourite shade. It’s another dark vampy shade but it has a berry undertone that I am loving.

Pillar Box Red.

I was disappointed. This shade is so orange, I mean really orange. The funny thing is the texture of this shade is amazing it feels great on but I hate the colour.

This slightly purple nude shade is lovely. On its own it is too light for me but with a brown lip liner it becomes a great nude. I was amazed that this shade wasn’t drying at all.

Liquid liner.

I thought I’d keep it simple and go for the black liquid eyeliner. I only ever use the NYX- matte liquid liner so getting use to this brush being a little stiffer and quite thick was a challenge. But this eyeliner is really good and super black. The reason I love my usual liner is that it is very dark, I hate having use multiple eyeliners to achieve the darkest black shade. This eyeliner is really dark, dried quick and glides I on. I have found myself reaching for this one  quite a bit.

Lip Liner-Wine £1.

I love this liner! I’m actually contemplating getting a few more shades. This is a lovely plum shade and it works well just to line the lips but also as a lip colour on its own or topped with a gloss. I can’t complain.

Lip Contour- Warm up £1

This is a lovely warm brown shade that has become a part or my daily makeup routine. This is sold as a lip contour and I only use it to line my lips but I love it.

Overall I wall impressed the Primark Beauty range and I think I will look for a few more lip liners and the other shades of the lip crayons. £2 for a long lasting matte lip colour is just unbelievable so I will definitely be stocking up.

Have you tried Primark Beauty?

Its such as you read my thoughts! You appear to understand so much approximately this,
like you wrote the guide in it or something. I feel that you just
could do with some p.c. to drive the message house a bit, but instead of that, that is wonderful
blog. An excellent read. I will certainly be back.
